We are seeking an experienced and reliable Drill Locator to support underground drilling operations in Fort Myers, FL. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate, efficient, and safe drilling activities alongside the drilling crew.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate utility locating using industry-standard equipment and interpret utility maps to support HDD operations.
• Assist the drilling crew in daily underground operations, including bore path tracking, potholing, and site restoration.
• Operate a mini excavator and other equipment safely and efficiently as needed on job sites.
• Maintain and inspect locating tools and equipment to ensure proper functionality and readiness.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, project specifications, and company procedures.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with the crew and foreman to meet project goals and deadlines.

Requirements

• Fluency in both, English and Spanish required;
• 2+ years of experience in underground drilling operations (HDD);
• Ability to operate a mini excavator safely and effectively;
• A valid and unrestricted driver’s license is required (CDL is a plus);
• Strong knowledge of HDD equipment, safety practices, and restoration work;
• Willingness to travel as needed within the assigned region.
