Job Summary We’re looking for a skilled Marine Carpenter to join our crew building and repairing docks, decks, boathouses, roofs, and other waterfront structures. The ideal candidate is hard-working and dedicated to producing quality work. If you are an experienced Carpenter with a positive attitude, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials needed
- Construct and repair docks, decks, boathouses, and marine structures
- Read plans and work independently or as part of a team
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Work in marine and outdoor environments
Qualifications
- Experience in carpentry (marine experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements
- Ability to read and take action on blueprints
- Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools
- Knowledge of pressure-treated lumber, pilings, and marine hardware
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
