Brandon Pharmacy is a full-service pharmacy with a mission to create medicines that improve the quality of patients' lives. We are looking for a passionate and hard working Pharmacy Technician to join our team.
Job Duties:
- Working under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and fills prescriptions
- Enter data into computer system to fill prescriptions and to obtain reimbursement/payment.
- Packaging of medication, reviewing and coordinating accurate and timely delivery to the customer.
- Syncing patients medications for efficient delivery and refills on time
- Call/fax medications requests as needed.
- Assists Pharmacy Management in maintaining good inventory practices which may include receiving and rotating incoming medications and supplies, posting lot numbers, expiration dates and assisting in physical inventory.
- Assists in maintaining a clean, safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety and cleanliness.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently and efficient in data entry.
- Organized.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and prioritize tasks.
- Be a team player
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
