Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Truss Assemblers to join a fast-paced structural component production facility. This team builds roof and floor trusses and other wood components used in housing and commercial construction. This is not a beginner position — prior experience in truss assembly or wood component production is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble roof and floor trusses and other structural components according to blueprints and production sheets
• Interpret layout drawings, measurements, and construction specifications
• Operate hand tools, pneumatic nail guns, saws, and other production equipment
• Position and fasten wood members to form accurate, quality trusses
• Stack, band, and prepare finished products for warehousing and shipping
• Inspect components for quality and compliance with specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety and PPE protocols
• Work efficiently to meet daily production goals and schedules

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on truss assembly experience
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and measurements
• Proficient with nail guns, drills, saws, and wood assembly tools
• Comfortable lifting and moving heavy materials (often repeatedly throughout the shift)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent attendance and reliability

Preferred Experience

• Previous work in lumber yards, millwork, or component manufacturing
• Knowledge of framing techniques and wood construction terminology
