Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time, contract opportunity is based in Port Saint Lucie, FL, supporting K-12 students across multiple school settings. Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are needed to deliver comprehensive speech and language services, primarily focusing on early childhood through middle school age groups.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade, with some caseloads including middle school levels
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans and implement therapy strategies
- Serving diverse populations, including students in ASD units and off-site Head Start programs
- Managing caseloads primarily at assigned schools, with flexibility to support part-time positions across multiple campuses
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Active Florida SLP licensure is required
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) with supervision provided
- Ability to work onsite full-time or part-time, depending on assignment
- Experience with pediatric speech and language disorders and working within school settings preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school teams
Locations and assignments vary, with most candidates assigned to one primary school campus. Opportunities are available at several schools including elementary, middle school, and early childhood programs.
