Job Title: Press Brake Operator
Shift: 2nd Shift
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM (finish)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to set up and operate press brake equipment to produce high-quality parts for internal and external customers. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic who takes pride in their work and wants to grow with a stable company.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machines to form customer-specific parts
- Monitor part quality and perform First Article inspections
- Ensure all parts meet drawing specifications and quality standards
- Package, label, and stage materials for efficient loading
- Maintain productivity and quality standards at all times
- Perform general preventive maintenance on equipment
- Complete production and quality logs accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all written quality procedures and company safety policies
- Report any accidents, injuries, or incidents immediately to supervision
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of press brake experience in steel fabrication, manufacturing, or service center environments (strongly preferred; other experience considered)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Proficient with tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
- Strong math skills (whole numbers and fractions)
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Crane and forklift experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation required
Work Environment & Dress Code
- Steel-toed boots required
- Jeans or work pants and T-shirt
- Company provides all additional PPE (hard hat, gloves, safety glasses)
