Lead Technician
Pay: $26.00–$36.00 per hour + benefits package.
Schedule: Full-time/Permanent & Direct Hire, 40 hours per week (7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.)
Location: Fort Myers, Florida
We’re hiring a Lead Technician to join a growing service team specializing in boom lifts, aerial machinery, and telehandlers. This hands-on role combines workshop and field service responsibilities, leading maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
As the Lead Tech, you’ll oversee daily service operations, coordinate tasks, perform complex repairs, and ensure quality, safety, and efficiency across all maintenance activities. You’ll also act as a mentor to junior technicians and represent the company professionally at customer sites.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform and supervise maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Plan and monitor daily workloads and schedules.
- Support field service operations and customer interactions.
- Maintain documentation and ensure safety compliance.
What You Bring:
- Diploma in Heavy Equipment Mechanics, Electromechanics, or related field.
- 3–5+ years of mechanical repair experience (aerial or heavy equipment).
- Strong troubleshooting skills in hydraulics and electrical systems.
- Valid driver’s license (required for field work).
- Advanced English; basic Spanish is an asset.
