Our client is seeking experienced Nokia Integration Technicians to support a long-term, multi-market network maintenance and upgrade program. This role supports active carrier sites and requires extensive travel, overnight work, and strong Nokia integration experience.
This is maintenance window work, not new construction. Technicians will rotate through multiple markets, completing site upgrades before moving to the next city. Candidates who are comfortable with travel, night work, and independent site coordination will thrive in this role.
Location
Multi-State / Nationwide Travel
Primary markets include:
- Chicago, IL
- Louisville, KY
- Columbus & Cincinnati, OH
- Indianapolis, IN
- Knoxville & Nashville, TN
- Additional markets as needed, including Seattle, WA
Preferred home bases: NC, FL, or IL (not required)
Schedule
- Work Week: Sunday night – Thursday night
- Shift Length: ~10 hours per day
- Maintenance Window: 11:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Travel: Typically initial travel into market is Saturday or Sunday afternoon, thens tarting work on Sunday night
⚠️ This is a true traveling night role with daytime prep responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
Night Maintenance Work
- Perform Nokia network maintenance and upgrades during maintenance windows
- Take sites offline at window start, perform required project task, and restore service
- Typical tasks include:

- Card swaps
- Chassis replacements
- Hardware upgrades
- De-install and reinstall of Nokia equipment
- Some physical labor, but expected to be limited
Technical Execution
- Connect laptop to network equipment via Ethernet
- Run scripts and push GDC files
- Perform:

- Post-checks
- Site validation and closeout
Site Coordination & Daytime Prep
- Conduct site due diligence during daytime hours
- Coordinate access by calling access numbers and reviewing site notes
- Confirm site details (indoor, outdoor, rooftop, etc.)
- Communicate with field engineers and support contacts
- Complete post-work documentation including photos and material tracking
Candidates must understand this is not “just night work” — daytime preparation and post-work documentation are critical parts of the role.
