CAD Operator III

Lake Mary, FL (hybrid, 3 days/week in office)

12-month W2 Contract

Safety and security have become more prevalent within the utility industry and equipment has become more intuitive. I am seeking a resource with a working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical and its intelligent features. These features include but are not limited to creating and understanding intelligent symbols, parts, metadata, catalog database, etc. This resource will assist with our Protection and Controls standards in recreating our Vanilla AutoCAD standards into intelligent standards utilizing AutoCAD Electrical. Minimum of 5 years AutoCAD Electrical experience is required.

The role requires a skilled AutoCAD Electrical Designer/Drafter to create intelligent 2-D panel layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams for electrical substation equipment and power distribution systems. The designer will create and manage intelligent Protection and Control (P&C) blocks, associate attribute information, and develop or convert P&C standards into smart drawings within the ACADE environment.

AutoCAD Electrical Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Creating detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for industrial control panels.

• Developing panel layouts and assembly drawings for electrical equipment.

• Updating existing electrical drawings to reflect design changes and modifications.

• Generating single-line diagrams and loop diagrams for electrical systems.

• Collaborating with engineers to integrate electrical designs into larger construction or manufacturing projects.
