Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring Level 2 Trauma and stroke experience, FL or compact license, and Epic proficiency.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Night shifts (3x12 hours), 19:30 to 07:00, with every other weekend required
- Level 2 Trauma center with stroke patient population
- Independent patient care responsibilities in a fast-paced ER environment
- Epic EMR experience required
- Locals considered within a 60-mile radius
- Responsibilities include caring for ER patients in a Level 2 Trauma and stroke center
- Must be able to function independently with minimal supervision in a critical environment
- Study guides and tips to pass required hospital assessments are provided during orientation
- Smoke-free facility
- Travelers will be required to work every other weekend as part of the regular schedule
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active FL or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- BLS and ACLS certifications required via AHA or ARC
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required at time of consideration
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- 3-5 years of Level 2 Trauma ER and stroke experience required
- Degree from an accredited school or from an institution approved by FBON with an additional 2 years recent consecutive acute care experience within the last 24 months in a US hospital
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must pass EKG/basic arrhythmia assessment with 100% in lethal rhythms and at least 83% overall
- Proof of vaccination status required; no declinations allowed
