Overview:
The Leasing Consultant is the face of the community—responsible for providing exceptional customer service, touring prospective residents, and supporting daily leasing and administrative operations. This role is ideal for someone personable, organized, and sales-driven.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet prospective residents, provide property information, and conduct tours (in-person & virtual).
- Follow up with leads, respond to inquiries, and maintain high closing ratios.
- Assist applicants through the leasing process: applications, screening, approvals, and move-ins.
- Prepare and execute lease agreements, renewals, and related paperwork.
- Maintain accurate records in property management software (Yardi, OneSite, AppFolio, etc.).
- Support marketing efforts, including online listings, social media, and outreach.
- Conduct community inspections to ensure the property is clean and market-ready.
- Complete daily administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and filing.
- Provide excellent customer service to prospects and residents.
- Collaborate with the property team to achieve occupancy, retention, and revenue goals.
Qualifications:
- Prior leasing experience required.
- Strong communication, sales, and customer-service skills.
- Comfortable with computers and property management systems (training available).
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of a fast-paced leasing office.
- Professional demeanor and polished presentation.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work required schedule, including some weekends
