Position Summary: The Clinical Director is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the quality, compliance, and clinical effectiveness of all ABA services delivered across assigned locations. This position provides mentorship to BCBAs, BCaBAs, and RBTs, ensures fidelity to treatment models, and leads initiatives that drive clinical excellence and family satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Must Be Board Certified BCABA (pursuing BCBA) or BCBA (preferred)

Oversee clinical programming, service delivery, and staff performance to ensure treatment quality, ethical standards, and payor compliance are consistently met;

Supervise and support BCBAs and BCaBAs, including case reviews, documentation audits, and performance development;

Lead hiring, onboarding, and training of clinical staff; manage client assignment, intake, and waitlist strategy to maximize access and continuity of care;

Collaborate with administrative leadership to align scheduling, operations, and payor requirements;

Support professional development by identifying CEU needs and coordinating in-house training; monitor and improve clinical outcomes using data-informed strategies;

Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to overall organizational strategy; ensure timely completion of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and insurance documentation.
Essential Knowledge and Skills: Deep knowledge of behavior analytic science and practical application in home, school, and clinic settings; leadership experience with a proven ability to train, motivate, and supervise multidisciplinary teams; familiarity with HIPAA, BACB, and commercial insurance guidelines; strong written communication and documentation review skills; proficiency in EMR platforms, clinical data tools, and digital communication; strategic thinking and capacity to manage multiple clinical priorities while maintaining standards of excellence.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, education, psychology, or related field; active BCBA certification in good standing; minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in ABA settings, including direct leadership of clinical teams; licensed to practice behavior analysis in applicable states (if required); CPR and First Aid certified; eligible for payer credentialing with Medicaid and commercial insurers.
