Job DescriptionSalary: $16/hr - $20/hr
Freedom Metal Finishing Inc. is seeking an entry level Painter Assistant
to assist our main painter with preliminary work. Painter Assistants are essential for the efficient and timely completion of a painting project.You will be responsible for the preliminary work before the actual painting, such as preparing the work area, cleaning the main painters paint gun, preparing the correct paint for customers parts, buffing and sanding surfaces.
Typical Minimums:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Mathematical ability to perform and/or understand the calculations used in assigned areas and ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and technical data. Competently uses computers and other systems to access, maintain, and manipulate data. Interpersonal skills and ability to interface with all levels, to work in teams or independently and communicate effectively with co-workers or supervisory staff.

Requirements & Experience
- This position is scheduled 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday-Friday, but OT, weekend work, are available.
- All candidates must be highly motivated professionals, excellent problem solvers, and capable of retaining their focus in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
- All candidates must be effective communicators who can work well with all levels of management and staff.
