Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support a busy Product Liability and Mass Torts defense practice in Miami. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who has built their career on the defense side and is comfortable handling complex, high-volume litigation matters.

Requirements (Must-Have):

- Minimum 5 years of experience working specifically with product liability and/or mass torts cases
- At least the past 4 years of experience must be defense-side only (plaintiff-side experience will not be considered)
- Strong understanding of mass tort litigation procedures, deadlines, and case management
- Experience supporting attorneys in complex litigation matters

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, draft, and file legal documents related to product liability and mass tort defense cases
- Manage case files, discovery, pleadings, and correspondence
- Coordinate with attorneys, clients, experts, and co-counsel
- Maintain calendars, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with court rules
- Assist with trial preparation and document production as needed

Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with legal case management systems and Microsoft Office
