Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Sewing Supervisor to oversee production employees and ensure work is completed efficiently and on time. This role involves managing all aspects of hiring, firing, employee onboarding, and training. You will be responsible for meeting production goals and metrics in accordance with customer demand, while partnering with other departments for seamless coordination.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage production employees to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Handle all hiring, firing, onboarding, and training processes.
• Ensure production goals and metrics are met in alignment with customer demand.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure availability of necessary resources such as personnel, equipment, materials, and supplies for effective production.
• Achieve established standards for volume, quality, waste, processing time, and delivery.
• Complete Day Zero/Prep work at the end of each day.
• Review daily production reports and delivery of finished products according to quantities and sequences.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 2 years of supervision experience within a manufacturing or automated distribution center.
• Proficiency in sewing.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Experience in hiring, firing, and coaching production employees.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of production management and supervision.
• Experience in lean manufacturing and inventory management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and production planning.
• Strong skills in process improvement and continuous improvement.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Pinellas Park, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00/yr.

75% of medical benefits paid for
Dental, 401k (IRA) with a 2% company match
1-2 weeks of PTO

This is a fully onsite position in Pinellas Park,FL.
