Credentialing Specialist – Behavioral Health

Homestead Health is a leading provider of outpatient mental and behavioral health services, dedicated to supporting individuals and families across Florida. We’re looking for a Credentialing Specialist to join our team and help ensure our providers are properly credentialed and enrolled with all major payers and regulatory agencies.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage end-to-end credentialing and re-credentialing for psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and therapists
- Maintain accurate provider records, licenses, CAQH, and NPI profiles
- Handle insurance enrollment with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
- Track expirations and proactively manage renewals
- Verify credentials, certifications, and professional qualifications
- Communicate with providers, payers, and internal departments to resolve issues promptly
What You’ll Bring:
- 1+ year of healthcare credentialing experience (required)
- Behavioral health or multi-provider practice experience preferred
- Strong understanding of payer enrollment and compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and credentialing databases
