As we continue to grow across the Southeast, we’re looking for a skilled and driven Landscape Project Manager to lead commercial landscape construction projects from the ground up.
If you have deep experience in commercial landscaping, a command of construction logistics, and the leadership chops to guide crews and subcontractors through complex jobs—this is your opportunity to thrive in a role where your impact is visible and valued.
What You’ll Be Doing
As our Landscape Project Manager, you’ll act as a field superintendent overseeing commercial landscape construction projects from start to finish—ensuring each job is delivered on time, on budget, and up to Russell’s high standards.
- Lead the full-cycle execution of commercial landscape construction projects—from pre-construction planning to final punch lists
- Read, interpret, and build from construction documents, blueprints, and site specifications
- Manage and coordinate multiple trades: hardscape, softscape, grading, drainage, lighting, concrete, and irrigation
- Supervise multiple in-house enhancement crews and oversee subcontractors for quality, safety, and production
- Monitor job progress, track costs, manage materials, and adjust schedules to meet project milestones
- Attend jobsite meetings and serve as the main point of contact with General Contractors (GCs), vendors, and clients
- Collaborate with Branch and Irrigation Managers to ensure efficient scheduling and resource allocation
- Enforce safety policies and maintain a clean, compliant, and professional jobsite
What You Bring to the Table
- 5+ years of experience in commercial landscape construction, including leadership over multi-trade job sites
- Strong ability to read and execute from blueprints and construction documentation
- In-depth knowledge of landscape construction methods, including hardscape installation, planting, concrete work, and drainage
- Proven success managing subcontractors, field teams, production schedules, and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with GCs and high-level commercial clients
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency with jobsite reporting tools
- A valid driver’s license, a clean motor vehicle record (MVR), and eligibility to work lawfully in the United States
- OSHA certification (required) and bilingual ability (English/Spanish) are a plus
Why Russell?
- Competitive salary and performance-based bonus potential
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with employer match
- Paid time off and holidays
- A values-driven culture focused on teamwork, growth, and doing the right thing
- Opportunity to grow with one of the largest and most respected names in commercial landscaping
