Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position is for an Occupational Therapist to support students in a K-12 school setting in Lake Wales, FL. The role centers on providing therapeutic services that enhance students' educational performance and support their developmental needs throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations of students occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support student success.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Licensed or certified Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based therapy.
- Familiarity with delivering services across all K-12 grade levels.
- Strong understanding of educational environments and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
