Job Description
Millennium Steel Inc, is seeking a skilled and reliable Iron Worker to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing structural and reinforcing iron and steel to form and support buildings, bridges, and other structures. This is a great opportunity for a motivated professional to work on exciting projects in a safety-first environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Unload and position steel components using cranes, hoists, or rigging equipment
Weld, cut, grind, and bolt structural steel and metal components
Install steel beams, columns, decking, and reinforcing bars
Align and secure structures using bolts, clamps, and welding
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and safety gear
Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Minimum [2] years of experience as an iron worker (preferred but not required)
Familiarity with welding, cutting, and rigging techniques
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
Physical strength and stamina for lifting, climbing, and standing for long periods
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred/ not required)
