We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network and Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. Role Overview

As a Network and Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our clients’ network and system infrastructures. You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex technical issues, deploying new technologies, and ensuring optimal system performance in a fast-paced, multi-client environment.


Core Responsibilities with Requirements

• Design, implement, and maintain complex client networks, servers, and cloud environments.
• Monitor and support firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless systems.
• Provide technical support including escalated tickets from Tier 1 and 2 teams, guidance to clients, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
• Perform routine system backups, patch management, and disaster recovery testing.
• Document configurations, changes, and procedures for client environments.
• Lead technical projects including infrastructure upgrades, migrations, new client on-boarding and software implementation.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and recommend improvements to enhance service delivery.
• Utilize PSA software to document, track, schedule and escalate ticket requests and RMM tools.
• Mentor or Coaching: Tier 1 / 2 occasionally (as needed)
• Work directly with ownership on technology strategies
  
  

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Network and Systems Engineer or similar role.
• Strong working knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
• Relevant experience with network security practices and tools.
• Proficiency in system administration, including Windows server operating systems.
• Proficiency with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with strong time management skills and operate as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.
• Min 2 year, preferably 4-year Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science and Engineering (or equivalent experience)
