We are a fast‐growing used car dealership specializing in acquiring vehicles from major auctions, transporting them to our facility, and reconditioning them to retail‐ready condition. Our operation moves quickly, and we’re looking for a highly skilled Automotive Shop Foreman who can lead the shop, diagnose complex issues, and keep workflow running smoothly.
Position Overview
The Shop Foreman oversees all mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic reconditioning work. This role is a combination of office and hands-on duties, you’ll diagnose vehicles yourself while also managing technicians, coordinating parts, and ensuring every car meets quality standards before hitting the lot.

️ Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced electrical and mechanical diagnostics on a wide range of makes and models
- Oversee daily shop operations and manage workflow for technicians
- Inspect incoming auction vehicles and create repair plans
- Coordinate with parts suppliers and ensure timely parts ordering
- Perform or supervise auto repair and body repairs, cosmetic work, and structural assessments
- Maintain quality control on all repairs and reconditioning tasks
- Train, mentor, and support technicians to improve speed and accuracy
- Communicate repair timelines and updates to management
- Ensure safety, organization, and efficiency throughout the shop
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands‐on automotive repair experience
- Strong electrical diagnostic skills (CAN bus, wiring, modules, shorts, parasitic draws, etc.)
- Experience with auto body repair and cosmetic reconditioning
- Ability to manage technicians and delegate work effectively
- Strong understanding of parts sourcing and cost‐efficient repair planning
- Ability to work independently and make fast, accurate decisions
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with auction vehicles (Copart, IAA, Manheim)
- Prior shop foreman or lead tech experience
- Familiarity with estimating software or reconditioning management tools
- Welding, frame, or structural repair experience
Compensation & Benefits

Rial's Automotive is a used car dealership. independently owned and operated, We do thing a little different compared to other conventional car dealers. we specialize on reconditioning vehicles to then be sold to other dealerships. we started small few years ago we went from a 5 car warehouse to a 10.000Sf lot within 2 years, we been expanding operations quickly and currently we are moving around 50 cars a month and counting.
