Job Description
The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates and treats residents, communicates with families, physicians, and health team members, and maintains documentation of services.
- Conducts resident assessments and develops treatment plans for approval.
- Provides therapy according to plans and screens residents as needed.
- Performs tests on daily activities, cognition, motor skills, perception, and more.
- Records billing charges and reports progress to the team.
- Participates in discharge planning and staff training.
- Supervises therapy staff and assists in hiring and performance evaluations.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with preferred two years’ experience.
