Job Summary:
Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Med-Surg setting. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Can respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient's condition or response to treatment. Additionally, can perform general nursing duties with adequate supervision.
Education/Experience/Licensure/Technical/Other:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Experience: Two or more years of medical/surgical experience preferred.
- Software/Hardware: Meditech
- License/Certification:
- Current State of Florida Registered Nurse Licensure
- ACLS certification- American Heart Association or Red Cross
- BLS certification- American Heart Association or Red Cross
