Job Description
The Flight Line Supervisor is responsible for the preventive maintenance, repair, and management of contracted maintenance for vehicles, heavy equipment and grounds equipment that services the campus.fines and implements policies, procedures and standards for ensuring the availability and safe use of vehicles and equipment
- Coordinates the use and availability of all motor pool assets
- Maintains detailed maintenance logs for all vehicles and equipment
- Partners with the Head of Maintenance on all contracted maintenance
- Tracks and schedules sub-contracted and required maintenance on all equipment
- Performs simple servicing and maintenance as required to include changing oil, filters, lights, wipers, starters, alternators, and replacing belts and batteries as needed
- Conducts weekly inspections and required servicing of the company motor pool equipment
- Responsible for the scheduling of aircraft fuellers to ensure line service duties are covered during operating hours
- Subject matter expert (SME) concerning the following manuals: Flight Line Procedures Manual, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan Manual and the Spill Containment and Countermeasures Manual. Conduct all Line Services, Duties and Facility maintenance in accordance with the aforementioned manuals.
- Ensure aircraft are tied down securely, windows latched, controls secured and cabin door closed and locked at the beginning and end of each shift. Each time an aircraft is serviced these items must be checked and corrected as required.
- Responsible for initial training of all Aircraft Line Service Personnel and documenting appropriately.
- Ordering and receiving of AVGas deliveries
- Maintenance of the Fuel Storage Facilities and Shed
- Six month Inspection and maintaining of all Spill containment kits.
- Maintaining neat and orderly Maintenance logs and other required Flight Line / Fuel Storage reports.
Qualifications
- Two-years vehicle repair or similar maintenance environment skills
- Effective communication skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Well organised and analytical
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and high-pressure situations.
- Contingent to employment, all candidates must pass a drug screening and background check, along with TSA badging-if required for your role.
- Requires work authorization in the United States.

$25 per hour
