Job DescriptionSalary: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00

Role Summary

CORYS is looking for a Project Manager (PM) to join our Team. A CORYS Project Manager uses a hands-on approach to oversee the cost, schedule, and technical compliance of the Company portfolio of projects, while proactively and strategically managing the day-to-day customer relationships and communications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic & Team Leadership

  • Coordinate/Manage/Coach the engineers to assure all corporate engineering principles and quality requirements are met. Help to improve product quality processes.
  • Promote standardization across all deliverables and drive continuous process improvements to optimize project execution efficiency.

2. Project Oversight & Execution

  • Oversee PM tasks guaranteeing alignment with contractual objectives, project priorities, and milestone deadlines.
  • Conduct thorough project reviews and evaluations to monitor quality control and client specifications.
  • Proactively manage and communicate with customers, serving as the initial point of escalation for high-level relationship management.
  • Identify project risks early, propose robust mitigation strategies, and enforce corrective actions to maintain high-quality execution.
  • Ensure rigorous tracking of project costs, resource utilization, and overall financial health of projects.


    3. Process Optimization & Business Contribution

    • Maintain and enforce strict documentation standards, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all project artifacts.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge-sharing by implementing lessons learned from past projects.
    • Contribute to technical sales discussions and business development efforts by defining solutions that align both with client needs and business objectives.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) Degree (or higher).
    • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience managing new product development projects.
    • Strong background in managing projects that include complex software and hardware development in an iterative integration environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage people and lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers (5-20+ individuals).
    • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, handle pressure effectively, and maintain a high level of commitment.
    • Excellent verbal and written English proficiency, including active listening and the ability to articulate complex requirements and technical documentation.
    • Proficient use of the MS Office suite, including MS Project.
    • Legal: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

    Preferred Skills & Experience

    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
    • Experience in sub-contractor and supplier management.
    • Understanding of basic manufacturing processes.
    • Knowledge of the railway industry is a plus.
