Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search has been engaged by a respected law firm in Miami, FL to recruit a skilled Commercial Litigation Paralegal with experience handling complex cases and managing electronically stored information (ESI). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing litigation team and contribute meaningfully to sophisticated, high-stakes matters.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation, including case management, discovery, trial preparation, and especially ESI collection and review. This role requires strong organizational skills, tech fluency, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Support attorneys with case preparation, including document review, eDiscovery, and trial logistics

Coordinate and manage ESI collection, review, and production processes

Assist with drafting legal documents, discovery responses, and correspondence

Perform legal research and cite-check legal filings

Maintain case files, track deadlines, and manage litigation calendars

Collaborate with outside vendors and litigation support teams to ensure proper handling of digital data

Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and coordinate with court staff as needed

Attend depositions, hearings, and trials, as necessary, to provide in-person support
Qualifications:

4+ years of paralegal experience in commercial litigation

Proven experience handling ESI and working with litigation support tools (Relativity, Concordance, Logikcull, or similar platforms)

Familiarity with federal and Florida state court procedures and filings

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple case files simultaneously

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and legal research platforms

ABA-approved paralegal certificate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
-
Spanish fluency is a plus but not required
