Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the properties (2) which are comprised of 112 units, ensuring compliance with affordable housing regulations.
  • Oversee leasing processes, including marketing vacant units, screening tenants, and executing lease agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records for tenant files, rent collection, and property expenses.
  • Meets with residents regularly to address any rent delinquencies or resolve issues related to a resident’s occupancy.
  • Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, staff, and community stakeholders.
  • Oversees the maintenance and physical operation of the property through the utilization of the Maintenance Supervisor and staff.
  • Perform regular, physical inspections of the property including vacant and “make ready” apartments, and follows up with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure that work has been completed to company standards
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, renovations, and ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years’ property management experience required.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, preferably RealPage OneSite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break.
