Lumina Counseling (www.luminacounselingwellness.com) is a small private practice located in South Miami/Coral Gables, Florida looking for a talented clinician to join our team. We're one of the few practices in South Florida that specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Founded by Dr. Maribel Gonzalez—one of only two DBT-Linehan Board Certified Psychologists in Miami—our mission is to help clients develop the skills they need to manage emotions and build meaningful lives. We believe in creating a supportive, warm team environment that promotes continued training and learning to maximize clinical care for our clients. We have a brand-new beautiful office space to fill and need a clinician to see clients in person in our South Miami/Coral Gables location.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the State of Florida
• Fluent in evidence-based treatments such as CBT, ACT and/or DBT
• Extremely professional, compassionate, and self-motivated
• Willing to work as an independent contractor
• Willing to see at least 10-15 patients per week
• Willing to provide some after school/evening or weekend appointments
• Willing to work in person in our South Miami/Coral Gables office
• Additional wonderful qualities but not necessary: some experience or training in DBT & Bilingual (Spanish & English fluency)
