Job Description

The Clinical Operations Department at Northern Light Medical Management is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Credentialing Specialist with experience in hospital-based radiology departments. This is an on-site, temporary-to-full-time position located in our Hollywood, Florida office.

We are a successful and growing hospital-based medical management company, and we are looking for the right candidate who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to operational excellence. You will work closely with our Operations team, physicians, and administrative staff to ensure a seamless credentialing process and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

-Manage the full credentialing and privileging process for radiologists, including initial applications, reappointments, and changes in privileges.

-Maintain accurate, up-to-date records for all radiologists, including licensure, certifications, and training.

-Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and all regulatory/accreditation requirements.

-Coordinate with department heads, physicians, and hospital administration to obtain required documentation and resolve discrepancies.

-Serve as a liaison between physicians and hospital administration.

-Provide guidance to physicians regarding credentialing and privileging requirements.

-Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in medical staff credentialing.

Qualifications

-Proven experience in hospital-based healthcare administration.

-Prior credentialing experience, including medical licensing (IMLC, FSMB, CAQH).

-Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident interacting with physicians and hospital leadership.

-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

-Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and other relevant software.

-In-depth knowledge of Joint Commission standards related to credentialing.

Requirements

-Experience in the manual process of Primary Source Verification (PSV) for required documentation.

-Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities under pressure.

-Flexibility to adapt to changing needs in a high-volume credentialing environment.
