FIDELITY MANUFACTURING is part of the backup Power Generation Industry. We design and build backup power packages (to include tanks and enclosures) for large and small health, industrial, and technology-oriented businesses that cannot have a power lapse at any time.
Position Summary:
Responsible for identifying, analyzing, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality, and streamline processes across the organization. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand current processes, identify areas for improvement, develop and implement solutions, and monitor the effectiveness of changes. Assists the CIM, Quality Engineer, and Director of Quality & Cl with Cl projects, collecting data, writing reports, updating work instructions, and auditing work areas.
Essential Functions:
Conduct a thorough analysis of existing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Gather and analyze data related to process performance, identify root causes of problems, and develop data-driven solutions.
Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to identify and implement solutions to address identified problems and opportunities.
Develop and document process improvements, including flowcharts, process maps, and standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, ensuring successful transition and adoption.
Track and measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements, identify areas for further optimization, and ensure sustained results.
Effectively communicate improvement initiatives and results to stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in continuous improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement roles.
- Strong understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, process mapping, data analysis, and project management principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, statistical software) and process mapping software.
- Green Belt or Yellow Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma preferred.
- Understanding of Al and various apps used for improving efficiency.
