The cake decorator is responsible for designing and decorating cakes according to customer specifications, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Decorate Cakes: Create visually appealing cakes for various occasions, including birthdays, weddings, and special events, based on customer requests and specifications.
- Consult with Clients: Discuss design ideas, flavors, and preferences with customers to ensure their vision is realized.
- Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure all cakes meet health and food safety standards, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage the inventory of baking and decorating supplies, ordering new stock as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with bakers and other team members to ensure timely completion of orders and maintain quality.
