Job Description

Job Summary:
Our client is looking for a Cost Estimator. The company provides comprehensive services in construction and manufacturing and is seeking an experienced estimator to analyze and forecast the time, materials, labor, and overall costs required for their upcoming projects.

Here's What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like:

Travel to job sites to gather detailed information on materials and labor requirements
Analyze specifications and technical documentation to create accurate time, cost, material, and labor estimates
Prepare estimates to support vendor or subcontractor selection
Collaborate with engineers, architects, owners, and contractors on cost assessments
Provide regular cost and expenditure reports throughout project timelines
Evaluate the cost effectiveness of ongoing products, services, or projects
Maintain and update a directory of suppliers, subcontractors, and contractors
Set up systems for ongoing cost tracking and reporting
Make recommendations to improve profitability or reduce costs

Schedule & Pay:
Salary: $23/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday

Here's What Makes YOU a Great Fit:

Bachelor’s degree required
At least 4 years of experience as a Cost Estimator
Strong skills in math, critical thinking, and decision making
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to interpret complex technical documentation and project plans
Active listener with a detail-oriented mindset
