Premier Cardiology of Boca Raton is a 5 physician private practice medical group focused on evaluation and management of adults with cardiac and vascular diseases with expertise in non-invasive, invasive and interventional/structural heart disease. Established in 1980, the practice is one of the largest and most established cardiology groups in the area. It currently has 20+ employees. Located in the heart of Boca Raton, it serves patients from all over South Florida, particularly from Palm Beach and Broward counties. Premier Cardiology delivers its outpatient care at its state-of-the-art office facility, which is conveniently located within walking distance from its affiliated inpatient site, Boca Raton Regional Hospital.
Role Description
The Cardiology Practice Manager is responsible for the overall administrative, operational, and financial management of the cardiology practice. This role oversees daily clinic operations, staff hiring and supervision, scheduling, revenue cycle management, and compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, regulatory licenses and permits and cardiology-specific quality standards. This role also oversees payroll and daily management of practice bills. Billing and collections processes are a key part of the Office Managers responsibilities. Knowledge of Medicare and private insurance billing and collections is preferred. Additional responsibilities include budgeting, vendor management, performance reporting, implementation of policies and procedures, and leading initiatives to improve operational effectiveness and practice growth.
Qualifications
- Experience in managing medical office operations and administrative processes
- Knowledge of Medicare and private insurance billing
- Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare regulations, and general medicine-related principles
- Demonstrated ability to manage staff and promote a positive team environment
- Proficient in using office management software including basic accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
