At Performance Optimal Health (POH), we take a holistic approach to health and recovery, ultimately striving to empower all our clients to live better lives. Each of our clients undergo a unique Optimal Health Assessment, allowing us to curate their plan of care to their specific need. Our services are based upon the Four Pillars of Optimal Health – Exercise, Nutrition, Recovery, and Stress management. We have highly trained professionals in all four pillars who make the clients journey their priority.
With over 20 years of experience throughout Connecticut and New York, we have successfully launched our second site in Naples, Florida. We are excited to scale and add to our Nutrition team. We are seeking an individual with a passion for health and wellness and a willingness to work within a team of individuals focused on impacting the lives of our clients in a positive way. A POH Nutritionist will evaluate client needs, develop goals, and provide advice on how to stay on track. Here at Performance Optimal Health, not only will you be helping others and working within a team, but you will continue to grow and learn personally and professionally.
Performance Optimal Health provides top quality care to our clients, and we would not be able to do so without our highly trained team of individuals. We are currently looking for someone in part-time virtual capacity. Come join us on our journey!

Key Areas of Ownership & Collaborate On (not limited to)
- Evaluate the dietary needs of a client by assessing their health and exercise levels, sleep, and food habits, etc.…
- Clarify information to clients and explain the effects of nutrients on overall health condition
- Simplify important information to clients and explain the benefits of staying on a healthy diet.
- Offer Nutrition counseling and coaching suggest positive alterations in nutrition to address clients’ dietary restrictions in conjunction with our Optimal Health Team
- Create full and personalized nutrition plans (short and long-term goals) that promote healthy lifestyles
- Content creation and community presentation
- Set clear objectives and provide support to clients to help them in their progress
- Ensure you stay updated on the latest nutritional diets and trends.
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience and must possess a valid state license.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
- Passionate about nutrition and up to date on ideas and innovation in the field
- In-depth knowledge of biochemistry, research methods, and human physiology
- Ability to work cross functional thrive in a fast-changing environment.
- Tailor strategies that assist our clients in overcoming difficulties and improving performance
- Critical thinker with outstanding conceptual and problem-solving skills
- Ownership and accountability - happy to take ownership for projects and problems and make sure they are executed to the highest standards
