The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Florida probate procedures, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking an experienced Probate Paralegal for a remote contract assignment with a respected law firm based in Miami. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable professional to contribute to a busy trusts & estates practice handling probate matters from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file probate pleadings, including petitions, inventories, accountings, and notices

• Manage the probate process from intake to final distribution

• Monitor deadlines and court requirements to ensure timely filings

• Coordinate with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and court personnel

• Draft correspondence and maintain accurate case documentation

• Assist attorneys with estate administration tasks, including asset collection and distribution

• Maintain electronic case files and calendars

• Provide support on ancillary probate matters as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Florida probate experience required

• Strong knowledge of Florida probate rules and procedures

• Proficiency with court e-filing systems and probate case management software

• Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills

• Able to manage caseload independently with minimal supervision

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent professional experience preferred
