We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver - HHA/CNA to join our team at Interim HealthCare of Sarasota County. This rewarding role involves providing high-quality, personalized care to clients in Longboat Key, FL, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the clients’ quality of life.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided and report any changes in the client’s condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and healthy living environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn and grow is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving.
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused mindset.
- Must be able to pass background checks and any required health screenings.
