Century Metals & Supplies, Inc. is seeking a FRONT DESK CLERK/RECEPTIONIST to join our team!!!

The right candidate will be responsible for performing the following duties:

Primary Responsibilities:

a. Receive all incoming phone calls with proper greeting and direct phone calls to respective departments.

b. Take hand-written messages including caller name, company name, phone number, date, time, and nature of the call.

c. Greet and direct all visitors accordingly while complying with all security procedures.

d. Follow up on customer orders and deliveries as well as coordinate with dispatch estimated arrival time of orders.

e. Create and print memos, correspondence (UPS/FEDEX/US MAIL), reports, and other documents as needed when necessary.

f. Handle incoming mail and forward to appropriate parties.

g. Make announcements as needed and prepare email blasts/notices.

h. Perform clerical duties, take memos, maintain files, organize documents as needed.

i. Be willing to accept new responsibilities and work assignments as they become needed while employed at Century Metals & Supplies, Inc.

The right candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

Qualifications/Skill Requirements:

a. High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

b. Excellent inter-personal communication skills.

c. Willingness to take on department tasks as needed.

d. Bilingual in English & Spanish both spoken and written preferred.

e. Effective communication skills, verbal and written.

f. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and limited Power-Point)

g. Resourcefulness as well as time-management skills

h. Customer Service Oriented
