Hazen and Sawyer is seeking entry-level engineers for our South Florida Offices for a variety of water-related assignments in various engineering disciplines (e.g., Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Structural, etc.). These assignments may include a wide range of water, wastewater, stormwater, reuse, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing engineering deliverables, including sampling studies, condition assessments, process modeling, hydraulics, and design reports
- Manage data for process modeling and design
- Attend client and internal project management meetings
- Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors to select equipment
- Support multiple projects from planning through construction
- Participate in fieldwork and site visits
Required Qualifications:
- EIT or plan to obtain within 2 years
- 0-5 years of experience
- Possess excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in computer software typically used (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills
- B.S. degree in environmental, civil, chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited U.S. program (other engineering degrees considered case by case)
- Conducts self-quality reviews before submitting work for additional QA/QC
- Proficiency in GIS, CAD/BIM, BioWin, PowerBI, and other software
