Employment Solutions has an IMMEDIATE need for Quality Assurance Inspector to work in the west Sunrise area. Our client has been in business for over 15 years and they manufacture, repair and distribute various aviation survival and emergency products throughout the world.
Hours: 6am - 2:30pm Monday to Friday
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Aviation Quality Control Inspector (Simplified Description)
This role checks aircraft parts and work to make sure everything is safe, correct, and meets FAA rules, customer requirements, and company standards. The inspector helps keep the repair station compliant and safe.
What You’ll Do
- Inspect aircraft parts and repairs to confirm they are airworthy.
- Use inspection tools and follow approved inspection methods.
- Read manuals, drawings, and FAA rules to verify proper work.
- Find and clearly record any problems or defects.
- Review maintenance paperwork before parts are approved for return to service.
- Enter inspection results into computer systems.
- Work with technicians and supervisors to keep work moving smoothly.
What You Need
- High school diploma.
- FAA A&P or Powerplant license.
- At least 18 months of inspection experience.
- 5 or more years working in aviation maintenance or repair stations.
- Good understanding of aircraft safety and airworthiness requirements.
- Ability to communicate clearly and stay organized.
- Basic computer skills.
- Comfortable using measuring and inspection tools.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to bend, kneel, climb, and work in tight or awkward spaces.
- Comfortable working around noise, chemicals, and wearing required safety gear.
