Wesco Turf, a leader in golf and grounds equipment, is seeking a Shop Foreman to provide technical leadership and mentor technicians in diagnostics, repairs, and best practices. This role ensures superior service performance, safety compliance, and efficient shop operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor shop technicians on repair procedures and company policies
- Assist with diagnostics and complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs
- Monitor work quality, productivity, and safety standards
- Maintain shop organization, tools, and OSHA compliance
- Conduct training sessions and support technician development
- Collaborate on performance reviews, recruiting, and onboarding
- Inspect shop equipment and enforce proper use of diagnostic tools
- Complete repair work as needed and respond promptly to communications

What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, a candidate should meet the following minimal requirements:
- Requires excellent documentation practice.
- Requires strong leadership skills with good administrative skills.
- Requires strong mechanical background.
- Requires the ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner to all customers as well as fellow employees.
- Requires the ability to multitask and handle situations responding to the needs of team members.
- Advanced knowledge of Equipment diagnostics, repair, and maintenance processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); ability to maintain emotional control in stressful situations.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must have ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Minimum High School Diploma G.E.D. or equivalent
- Training at vocational, technical trade school or training seminars in the Commercial Turf Industry.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a related field experience
