Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our residential team in Miami Beach, FL. This role is essential in ensuring the maintenance and overall functionality of our multi-family apartment communities. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a variety of maintenance areas and will be committed to delivering excellent service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• General Maintenance: Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
• Work Orders: Complete work orders and respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Unit Turnovers: Assist with unit turnovers to ensure vacant apartments are rent-ready.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance to preserve the condition of the property and its equipment.
• Common Areas: Maintain all tools and maintenance equipment in safe working condition. Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of common areas, including painting and general repairs as needed.
• Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors and property management staff as required.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety procedures and protocols.
• Weekend & Emergency Availability: Must be available to work weekends and respond to emergency situations as needed, ensuring continuous property security.
• Trespassing & Tenant Management: Assist with addressing trespassing issues and managing disruptive tenants, including enforcing property rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on maintenance experience, preferably in a multifamily housing environment.
• General knowledge of all aspects of property maintenance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying environmental conditions.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed for emergencies.
