About the Role:

The ideal candidate for this role is a data-driven and strategic thinker focused on sales performance optimization. This critical role requires an individual who can align sales strategies with overall business objectives, ensure data-driven decision-making, lead the execution of seasonal goals and optimize processes to enhance sales effectiveness. In addition to identifying opportunities within the business, this candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production of all goods, ensuring product arrives in the right quantities and at the right time. Lastly, the Senior Manager of Planning and Merchandising will work cross functionally with key stakeholders of the US and International businesses.

Responsibilities:

· Utilize strong financial acumen to build merchandise demand plans from a bottom-up approach, focusing on key performance indicators such as sales, turn, and gross margin.

· Oversee the end-to-end production cycle, ensuring product is produced in appropriate quantities and arrives at the right time.

· Serve as the point person for merchandise assortment development, leading the collaboration amongst channels to develop a product selection that ensures we achieve company goals.

· Develop and maintain processes and guidelines related to promotional activities and channel segmentation, ensuring our brands are set up for long-term success.

· Identify opportunities related to pricing and ensuring the right balance of profitable growth and brand value.

· Lead the optimization and evolution of critical commercial team processes.

· Develop and implement a recurring cadence of impactful, data-driven insights, dashboards, and metrics reporting to empower sales leadership and inform strategic decision-making.

· Utilize data analytics to recommend action, predict risks and opportunities, make informed decisions and turn insights into actionable strategies.

· Drive comprehensive understanding of pipeline, forecasts, and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) across various market segments, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

· Drive ongoing improvements in the knowledge, skills, and abilities of our sales teams.

· Develop and implement training programs and materials to accelerate learning and achievement of key objectives.

· Lead the process of proactively identifying growth & optimization opportunities; collaborating cross functionally to structure, measure, execute, and scale; and driving adoption and knowledge at all levels of the organization.

· Collaborate closely with other internal departments such as marketing, sales, ecommerce, and finance to achieve business objectives.

· Collaborate closely with team members in Grendene Brazil with a focus on the execution of business opportunities and product needs.


Qualifications:

· 5–10 years of experience in operations, supply management, project management, or marketplace growth.

· Strong analytical skills with experience tracking and optimizing key metrics.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present strategies and insights to senior leadership.

· Ability to work cross-functionally and drive alignment across diverse teams.

· Extensive experience in demand planning and forecast development, impact of forecast accuracy on inventory levels, manufacturing costs, transportation costs, warehousing costs and customer service.

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
