Community Resource Network of Floridais looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable andis committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

We are currently looking for support for a 19-year-old male who needs assistance with safety supervision, activities of daily living, and community outings. He enjoys drawing, Play-Doh, doing crafts, and math games.

This is an independent contract position and pays $16.00 per hour

Schedule: Sundays 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM

You will be a good fit for this position if you:

• Demonstrate patience and compassion

Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role:

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
• Ensuring individuals safety and maintaining a safe living environment
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
• Complete daily progress notes

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Are 18 years of age or older
