Associate Attorney

Location: Coral Gables, FL Position Type: Full-Time | In-Office

About the Position

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong legal research and writing skills, is comfortable handling cases with supervision, and is eager to grow within a fast-paced, professional legal environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing a diverse caseload from inception through resolution

• Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, memoranda, and correspondence

• Participate in discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests

• Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances (as applicable)

• Work closely with senior attorneys on case strategy and execution

• Maintain communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel

• Ensure deadlines are met and matters are handled efficiently and professionally

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

• Active Bar License in [State] and in good standing

• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and time-management abilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Professional demeanor and commitment to client service

Preferred

• years of experience in litigation / business law / civil practice / family law / Real Estate

• Experience handling hearings, depositions, or court filings

• Familiarity with case management systems
