This is a full-time hybrid role for a Computer Technician, based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work both on-site and remotely, as needed. The position involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, maintaining and repairing computer systems, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and supporting the functionality of operating systems. The Computer Technician will also assist with configuring and upgrading systems as part of regular maintenance and updates.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to address and resolve various system and network issues effectively.
- Experience in Computer Maintenance and Computer Repair to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of hardware and peripherals.
- Strong knowledge of Operating Systems, including installation, configuration, and updates across multiple platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent are preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree in Information Technology or a related field is a plus.
