Job Responsibilities:
- You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of critically ill patients.
- You will instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- You will maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
- You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
Job Requirements (Med-Surg):
- Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse or appropriate compact licensure (FL RN license required within 60 days of hire)
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience required
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
- Strong critical thinking, service excellence, communication, and computer skills
ICU REQUIREMENTS (ICU only):
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required
- Candidates will be considered for MICU, SICU, or CSU
- AHA ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer
- NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer
SOB - up to 25K
