Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Registered Nurse with stepdown or progressive care unit experience is needed for a night shift position in Winter Haven, Florida. This opportunity is a 13-week contract role offering a guaranteed 36-hour workweek. Candidates with one year of experience in a progressive care unit setting are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to PCU patients requiring close monitoring
- Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies
- Respond quickly to patient needs and changes in condition during assigned shift
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license (Compact license accepted)
- At least 1 year experience in a Progressive Care Unit or Stepdown nursing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to wear navy blue scrubs as part of the dress code
- Provide at least one professional reference covering entire work history
