The Naples, Florida office of Hahn Loeser & Parks is looking for a full-time Legal Assistant with a minimum of 1 year of Trust & Estate experience. We offer a competitive salary and a benefits package to full time employees.
Responsibilities:
· Provide administrative and clerical support to a team of attorneys and/or paralegals;
· Drafting, typing, formatting, proofreading and finalizing documents as directed by attorneys or paralegals;
· Maintaining calendars of attorneys and paralegals and organizing meetings;
· Serving as witness or notary during client meetings;
· Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
· Handle confidential information discreetly;
· Demonstrate a high level of internal and external client service;
· Maintain filing system including paper and electronic;
· Prepare engagement letters, open new matters, process the conflicts check procedure;
· Copy and scan documents;
· Screening and relaying telephone messages and responding, as appropriate;
Qualifications:
· 1-2 years of legal secretarial experience in the trusts and estates area;
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs;
· Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines;
· Ability to learn new software programs;
· Must possess strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, excellent proofreading skills and the ability to multitask.
