PrideStaff is seeking an Industrial Mechanic (Level 1) on behalf of a food manufacturer in West Palm Beach. This role is crucial for the smooth and efficient operation of the production line. The Industrial Mechanic will repair, maintain, and install both automated and manual equipment used in food production. This position supports safe and reliable operations by following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Sanitation Practices (GSP), and company safety procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor production lines and make necessary adjustments or repairs.

Rebuild component parts of machinery when necessary.

Follow the preventative maintenance program by doing the assigned work and completing the proper paperwork.

Inspect and report potential equipment failure to the Supervisor.

Work closely with Machine Operators, Production Managers, and Sanitation to maintain machinery in the best possible running condition.

Follow food safety rules, plant GMP's, and safe working practices.

Must be able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.

Pursue CARO certification.
Qualifications:
-
Knowledge of mechanical systems and components.

Basic understanding of pneumatic and/or industrial-level electrical control systems.

Ability to diagnose, repair, disassemble, and reassemble motors, gearboxes, pumps, air cylinders, and related equipment.

Ability to read, interpret, and apply information from safety rules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintenance instructions, and equipment manuals.
Education:

High School diploma or GED.
Experience:
-
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production environment.
