HealthYes Staffing Network is partnering with a highly respected healthcare system in the West Palm Beach, Florida area to recruit a Licensed Physical Therapist for a locum, part-time assignment. This opportunity offers a collaborative clinical environment, strong support staff, and a focus on high-quality patient care.

Position Overview

The Physical Therapist will provide comprehensive therapy services including patient evaluations, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions. This role requires working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team while maintaining professional, ethical, and clinical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

  • Deliver therapeutic interventions consistent with physical therapy best practices

  • Supervise physical therapy assistants and aides as applicable

  • Contribute to care coordination and case management

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation

  • Participate in quality improvement and productivity initiatives

  • Foster positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

  • Active Florida Physical Therapy license

  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association)

  • Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered approach

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements

  • Capacity to meet standard inpatient and outpatient physical therapy demands

Compliance Requirements

  • Maintain all required licensure and certifications

  • Completion of annual compliance, health, and Joint Commission requirements

  • Participation in TB/PPD surveillance and mandatory education programs
